Two Gang Members Already in Jail Charged in August Murder
The two men were already in jail on suspicion of attempted in another case when they were re-booked Friday evening in connection with the death of 21-year-old Louiegie Bermas on Aug. 14.

Two alleged gang members are behind bars Saturday on suspicion of murdering a young man in a neighborhood near Camp Pendleton.
Roland Isaac Seau, 23, and David Lemoe Tua, 25, were already in jail on suspicion of attempted murder when they were re-booked early Friday evening in connection with the death of 21-year-old Louiegie Bermas, who was found dead in the 600 block of Arthur Avenue in northern Oceanside on Aug. 14, according to police.
The stabbing that led to the suspects' earlier arrests occurred shortly before Bermas' alleged murder came to light, Lt. Aaron Doyle said.
"Based on an extensive investigation with multiple corroborating leads, the attempted murder of (Randy) Lozano and the later murder of Bermas are believed to have been connected and gang-related,'' Doyle said.
Authorities do not believe that Bermas had any gang affiliations, according to Doyle.
Police have not revealed Bermas' cause of death or disclosed a suspected motive for the alleged killing.
