Two Men Shot in Oceanside Thursday

Two men were shot on Mission Avenue and Tremont Street Thursday evening, the North County Times reports. 

The violence started near Sunset Market—a weekly gathering in Oceanside that runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Pier View Way and Tremont Street. Shortly before 9 p.m., one man was found beaten in an alleyway, the newspaper reported.

Minutes later, Oceanside Police got calls of a shooting. Two males were shot and taken in for treatment with wounds that were not life threatening.
