Victim Of Fatal Accident On North County Highway ID'd

VISTA, CA — Authorities Monday publicly identified a 26-year-old man who died over the weekend in a traffic accident on state Route 78 in Vista.

Hunter Bean of Escondido was standing outside his disabled pickup truck on the highway east of Vista Village Drive when another vehicle struck him at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.

Bean died at the scene, the agency reported.
