Line charge exercises using C-4 explosive will take place Saturday and Sunday.

Loud booms may be heard this weekend due to mine-clearing line charge exercises, base officials announced Friday.

The exercises are scheduled to take place from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, according to Camp Pendleton’s public affairs office.
