  1. The Buena Vista Audubon Society has plans in the works for a proposed wetlands reserve restoration project in Oceanside. The 3.5 acres were purchased by the society in January 2016. Funds from a $500,000 grant from the Dorrance Family Foundation to Audubon California will help fund the project to enhance wildlife movement and improve opportunities for residents to visit the Buena Vista Lagoon.   2. A community forum will be held this evening titled "Protecting Adolescent Brain Development: Addressing the Fentanyl Crisis Through the Power of Prevention." The family forum, designed for middle to high schoolers, will be held at the El Camino High School Truax Theater from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The forum is a joint effort by Oceanside Unified School District and Vista Community Clinic.
