156 Stingray Injuries Over 3 Days In Southern California
In just one day, 73 injuries were reported in Huntington Beach, according to a report.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- More than 150 people were reportedly stung by stingrays over the course of three days in Orange County. CBS LA reported that 156 people were stung while on the coast of Huntington Beach, setting a record for the number of people to be injured by a stingray.
Of those injured, 73 were reported in just one day, AZFamily.com reported.
"Lifeguards are warning that there has been a spike in stingray presence in the waters around Huntington Beach, likely due to low tides and the abnormally warm winter weather SoCal has been experiencing," CBS LA reported.
