ANAHEIM, CA — Four people were rendered unconscious outside an Anaheim apartment building Sunday morning when they apparently overdosed on drugs during a party. One of the patients was pronounced dead, and the other three were in critical condition, KTLA reported.

"It looks like it was an overdose," Pardo said. "A white powdery substance."

Because the white powder was not identified, a large perimeter was cordoned off and a hazardous materials crew was called to collect the substance and make sure the area was safe, Pardo said.
