Bill Clinton To Campaign In OC As Democrats Bring Heavy Hitters To Tight District 45 Race
Former President Bill Clinton will visit Orange County Saturday to canvass and rally in support of congressional candidate Derek Tran.

BUENA PARK, CA — Former President Bill Clinton will visit Orange County in support of congressional candidate Derek Tran on Saturday.
The scheduled appearance will include a canvass, lunch and rally in Buena Park. Representatives Judy Chu, Mark Takano, Jill Tokuda and Marilyn Strickland will also be in attendance.
The announcement comes as the race to see who will represent California's 45th Congressional District remained tight Thursday, Oct. 24.

The district, which represents a sizable swath of Orange and some of Los Angeles counties, includes cities such as: Fountain Valley, Westminster, Garden Grove, Cypress, Buena Park, Cerritos, Artesia, La Palma, Placentia, Hawaiian Gardens, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, and parts of Brea, Lakewood, Fullerton and Yorba Linda.
As of Sept. 24, The Cook Political Report, Decision Desk HQ and Larry J. Sabato's Crystal Ball listed the race as a "toss-up." Inside Elections with Nathan L. Gonzalez listed the race "tilt Republican."
