Fountain Valley Woman Fatally Struck By SUV Identified
An 85-year-old woman was hit by an SUV in a Ralph's parking lot in Fountain Valley and later died at a nearby hospital.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA — An 85-year-old woman who was struck and killed by an SUV in a Ralph's parking lot in Fountain Valley was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner's office.
Lavonne Perez of Fountain Valley was hit at about 4:35 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot, the coroner's office reported.
Perez was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana where she died about 50 minutes later, the coroner said.
