1. You can get a free glazed donut on Tuesday, March 22 in Santa Ana! Randy’s Donuts will be opening its new Santa Ana location and will be giving away a free glazed donut to celebrate. Fans will have to look a little harder to find the shop, as it will not have the giant doughnut sign like the Randy's Donut shop in Costa Mesa. You can read the full story here: (OC Register)
2. A United Airlines flight from Orange County to Houston was diverted to Austin for a mechanical issue out of an abundance of caution. United flight 2425 landed safely and passengers deplaned on the airfield. The passengers were then transported to the terminal and were assigned a new plane to Houston. (KCAL 9 News)
3. High gas prices are driving more consumers to electric vehicles in California, and more carmakers will be offering them. Infrastructure and charging stations are being built to support more electric vehicles. Gov. Gavin Newsom is a strong supporter of California drivers moving to EV cars and issued an executive order for all new cars "to be zero emission by 2035."
