LA Woman, 20, Fatally Hurt On 91 Freeway In Anaheim Identified

ANAHEIM, CA — A 20-year-old woman who was fatally injured on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner's office.

Naomy Palma of Los Angeles was hit just before 3 a.m. Saturday on the westbound 91 Freeway, east of Euclid Street, the coroner's office said. There was no explanation as to why Palma was walking along the freeway.

Palma was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center where she died about 40 minutes later, the coroner reported.

The crash was being investigated by the California Highway Patrol's Westminster office.
