1. An elderly couple in their 80s from El Cajon is missing, and the California Highway Patrol is asking for assistance to locate them. CHP officers issued a Silver Alert for 86-year-old Phillip Lopez and 82-year-old Frances Lopez from El Cajon, who were last seen driving their silver 2001 Lexus on Thursday at 3:30 a.m. The license plate is:4KDT368. Phillip Lopez is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing around 115 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. (Orange County Patch)
2. Two Corona del Mar homes linked to the creators of "Rocky and Bullwinkle" are for sale priced at $15 million. A hillside Corona del Mar property that has "two oceanfront homes" with ties to the late TV cartoon creator Jay Ward of Rocky and Bullwinkle fame is on the market. The upper house is on Ocean Boulevard, and the other home is on the private, gated Breakers Drive at beach level. According to the listing, each home "carries a 'rare' nightly rental status for use as an Airbnb or VRBO." (Vigour Times)
3. If you received a text message to buy a T-shirt to support the Orange County Fire Authority, they said it's not from them! Recently, members of the public have been receiving text messages about T-shirt purchases for the Orange County Fire Authority, OCFA officials said in a recent online post, but the text messages "are not affiliated with our organization."
