Motorcyclist, 39, Killed in Crash With Truck In Irvine
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Jamboree Road and the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway off-ramp.
IRVINE, CA — A 39-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday after his bike collided with a truck hauling a trailer in Irvine.
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Jamboree Road and the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway off-ramp, Irvine police Sgt. Karie Davies said.
The motorcyclist, from Huntington Beach, was taken to Orange County Global Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Davies said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police, Davies said. Neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the crash, she said.
