Naked Man Behaving Strangely Arrested, Later Dies: Anaheim Police

Multiple people called emergency personnel about the man, who was completely nude in public and later died at a hospital, police said.

ANAHEIM, CA — A man died after he was arrested following multiple calls from people reporting that he was naked in public and acting strange, police said.

Officers responded around 2:15 p.m. Saturday to the 800 block of North Harbor Boulevard, where they found the 26-year-old, who was completely nude, acting erratically and showing signs of being under the influence of drugs, according to police.

The man was arrested but on the way to a hospital for clearance before booking he suffered medical distress, police said. Officers rendered aid and administered Narcan but the man died about 16 hours later at a hospital, according to police.

The Anaheim Police Department’s Major Incident Review Team and Internal Affairs will investigate, police said.
