  1. Orange County, FL vs. Orange Country, CA. You may be curious about how these two sunny locations with the same name compare. Technically, Orange County Florida covers the Orlando area, but the article looks at the wider region including beaches, for a fun comparison. As far as beaches go, OC California and OC Florida both have world-class beaches. OC has Laguna beach and others, Florida has Sarasota beach, and others too. Both places have great dining and fun theme parks. OC California earned a little extra praise for having more restaurants featuring healthy foods. You can read the full story here: (The Travel)
  2. The Orange Coast College Planetarium is celebrating its third year in operation and is officially reopening for stargazing in the planetarium on March 19. The new planetarium was operating for almost one year until closing due to the pandemic, said planetarium director Scott Mitchell. The planned festivities on the Costa Mesa campus will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. including fee demonstrations and activities, with a workshop by fashion designer Paul Frank for $25. The planetarium will feature a meteorite exhibit, 'which includes about 20 specimens' from the Asteroid Belt, the moon, and Mitchell hopes — Mars — depending on a generous donor. 3. The Natural Products Convention will be returning to the Anaheim Convention Center on March 8, after the convention was canceled in March 2020 due to the pandemic. The organic products convention will provide a welcome boost to Orange County businesses in Anaheim. Organizers are expecting 2,700 vendors offering organic and natural products from all over the world. The convention expects to bring $145 million into the community with 60,000 people expected to visit. You can read more and watch the full story here: (NBC Southern California)
