1. New antiviral drugs are the latest advancement in the battle with COVID-19. Vaccines help protect from severe illness and death, but the new generation of therapeutics can be "game-changers" for those who are not vaccinated or haven't had a strong immune response after vaccination. Pfizer, and other companies, have developed antiviral pills for COVID-19 that you can get at pharmacies after a positive COVID-19 test result. If taken within five days of symptoms, they can help prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death in as many as 85 percent of the cases, experts say. Here's what you need to know: (OC Register)
2. If you find that Mondays can sometimes be stressful, luckily, OC Parks has Meditation Monday. "Grab your coffee, sit back and take a deep breath.
