BUENA PARK, CA — Thrill seekers were stuck mid-air Monday — with two eventually taken to the hopspital — after the Sol Spin ride at Knott’s Berry Farm malfunctioned with people on board.

The ride "experienced technical difficulties" that caused it to stop mid-cycle around 2 p.m., according to the park, which said 22 people were evacuated by 4:30 p.m.

"Out of an abundance of caution, two female guests were transported to the hospital for further evaluation," according to a prepared statement from Knott's Berry Farm.
