These SoCal Zip Codes Are Among CA's Most Expensive

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Two Southern California zip codes are among the state's three most expensive, according to a recent analysis from RealtyHop.

California’s second-most expensive zip code is Newport Coast code 92657, which has a median list price of $4.97 million, the real estate website reported. Santa Barbara code 93108 is the third-priciest at $4.85 million.

To determine the country’s costliest zip codes, RealtyHop analyzed over 3 million for-sale listings in its database from Jan. 1 to Oct. 15, sorting them by zip code and ranking the codes by median list price.

Bay Area code 94027 in Atherton took the top spot nationally and in the state for the fifth year in a row, with a median price of $7.75 million, according to RealtyHop. At the national level, Atherton was followed by Miami Beach code 33109 in Florida at $6.1 million and Sagaponack code 11962 in New York at just under $6 million.
