Frontierland Park Improvements Will Cause Park Closure This Month
The park will close from Aug. 16 to 27 so the city can pave a pedestrian pathway, improve the park's drainage, and install an entry gate.
PACIFICA, CA — The city will be improving Frontierland Park's pedestrian pathway and drainage system later this month, and will close the park from Aug. 16 through Aug. 27 to do so.
"Improvements will consist of a new asphalt paved pedestrian pathway, drainage improvements, and a new entry gate," the city said in a letter.
The project will likely be completed by Sept. 10, weather permitting, according to the letter. Funding is coming from the Frontierland Remediation Revenues provided by waste management company Recology on an annual basis.
