Man Accused Of Grabbing Large Blade During Pacifica Fight: Police
Police said witnesses subdued the man as he attempted to pull a 27-inch fixed blade from his trunk during an altercation.

PACIFICA, CA — A man faces multiple charges after police allege he threatened to shoot someone during an argument and attempted to retrieve a large fixed-blade weapon.
In a news release Wednesday, Pacifica police said officers were called to the scene of a fight in progress around 9 a.m. Friday. The officers arrived at the scene on Palmetto Avenue and found the suspect already restrained on the ground by two other people, police said.
After speaking with witnesses, officers said they learned the man had come from Daly City planning to confront someone over an "ongoing personal feud." During the exchange, police allege the man threatened to shoot the victim, then opened his trunk and tried to remove a 27-inch blade.

Two witnesses said they subdued the man while a third person took the weapon and called 911.
Police identified the suspect Wednesday as Diogo Chaboudetkauf, 39, of Daly City. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of criminal threats, exhibiting a deadly weapon and destruction of a communication device.
