Pacifica Teen Accused Of Breaking Into Brewery

Police allege the boy tried to break into the former Sea Bowl building before burglarizing a nearby brewery.

PACIFICA, CA — A teen boy arrested Wednesday in Pacifica is accused of attempting to break into a shuttered bowling alley before burglarizing a local brewery, according to police.

Investigators said a 911 caller reported a person attempting to break into the former Sea Bowl, a Pacifica mainstay that closed its doors last year. Officers arrived at the scene on Coast Highway and determined the suspect had left the area but soon learned he may have been hiding in a neighboring business.

Police set up a perimeter around The Pacifica Brewery and found the suspect as he attempted to leave. Officers allege the teen was carrying items from the brewery that confirmed he had been inside the closed business.
