Police Search For SMC Burglary Suspects In Neighborhood
The police department issued a shelter in place alert as they searched for the suspects.
BELMONT, CA — The Belmont Police Department issued a shelter in place early Thursday morning as they searched for two burglary suspects in the Homeview neighborhood.
At 5:31 a.m., the BPD issued an alert stating they were assisting the Daly City Police Department in a search for two burglary suspects who fled on foot in the Homeview area.
The alert, which has since been lifted, asked residents in the area to remain inside.

At 5:49 a.m., police said they found one suspects but were still looking for the other, who was described as a man in his 20s wearing blue pants and a sweatshirt.
At 6:18 a.m., officers said they found and detained the second suspect.
