Rockaway Beach's Best Western Sold to New Owner
Best Western Plus Lighthouse Hotel will no longer be under the ownership of Pacifica Hotels, which operates 24 coastal properties in California, Hawaii, and Florida.
Invest West Financial/Pacifica Hotels announced last week the sale of its previously held property, Best Western Plus Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, to a foreign buyer for an undisclosed amount.
Pacifica Hotels owns and operates independent boutique hotels along California’s Pacific Coast. The company currently operates 24 coastal properties in California, Hawaii, and Florida.
“Pacifica Hotels continues to refine its portfolio of coastal properties by evaluating our assets, acquiring key properties, making strategic sales, and reinvesting in and renovating our current hotels,” said Pacifica’s President Matt Marquis.
In 2013, Pacifica Hotels renovated several key properties including Hilton Garden Inn Marina del Rey, Cambria Landing, Blue Sea Lodge, and Half Moon Bay Lodge.
In 2014, Pacifica Hotels will unveil Marina del Rey Hotel after a significant renovation, as well as a repositioned Sunrise Hotel in Redondo Beach.
