Eugene Levy New Honorary Mayor Of Pacific Palisades
A resident of the Alphabet Streets, Levy recently won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Eugene Levy has taken over the role of honorary Mayor of Pacific Palisades, succeeding legendary actor Billy Crystal and his wife Janice. Sarah Knauer and Bob Benton of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce confirmed the transition on September 21.
Levy, a Canadian by birth, has a residents in the Alphabet Streets of the Palisades. The actor is well known for his role as Noah Levenstein in all eight American Pie movies, as well as Cheaper By The Dozen 2 and other films.
Also in September, Levy took home an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Schitt's Creek. Levy created and wrote the show, which made history by sweeping the comedy category at the 2020 Emmy awards.

Earlier this year, Levy received a lifetime achievement award from the Newport Beach Film Festival.
Virginia Bruce became the first honorary mayor of Pacific Palisades in 1951. Previously, celebrities such as Adam West and Bob Sagat have held the role.
