LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting two sobriety/license checkpoints Friday evening. One checkpoint is at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Maxella Avenue near Marina del Rey. The other is at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Avalon Boulevard in South Los Angeles, police said.
