Man Confronts Burglar in his Home, Convinces Him to Leave
POLICE BLOTTER: Also, someone nabs a catalytic converter and a crafty burglar.

Two home burglaries took place on Oct. 3, one car burglar stole a part from the vehicle in question on Oct. 1, and a trespasser decided to stop trespassing when confronted by the owner on Oct. 4 at 2 a.m.
A burglar stole the catalytic converter from a car parked on Pacific Coast Highway sometime between 3:15 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 1.
An iPad was stolen along with jewelry and money from a home on Erskine Drive between 7:10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m on Friday Oct. 3. The burglar chose to enter the house simply by prying open a door.

A 23-year-old man tried entering a home on Chastain Parkway through the window at 2 a.m. Saturday Oct. 4. After the owner confronted the trespasser, the man agreed to leave. Whether the trespasser left through the window or the door is unknown.
