Pali Police Blotter: Church Thrift Store Theft and 6 Vehicle Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Note: This report covers a two week period.

Items stolen from church thrift store; suspects ID'd

At 10:45 a.m., March 24 in the 1000 block of Bienveneda Avenue, two suspects (a man and a woman driving a Toyota) took clothing and books for a church thrift store, according to Los Angeles police.

Stolen tools

Between 6 p.m., April 4 and 7 a.m., April 5 in the 500 block of Chautauqua Boulevard, a suspect entered a storage container and took tools.

Vehicle burglaries

  • Between 5 p.m., March 25 and 9 a.m., March 26 in the 600 block of Palmera Avenue, golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle trunk.
  • Between 3 and 6 p.m., March 30 at the Los Liones Drive and Sunset Boulevard intersection, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a day bag, day planner and check.
  • Between 4:30 and 7 p.m. at the Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard intersection, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a purse, wallet, money and credit cards.
  • Between 1 and 3 p.m., April 1 at the Los Liones Drive and Sunset Boulevard intersection, a suspect smashed a window to vehicle and took an iPad, clothing and leather bag.
  • Between 10 and 11 p.m., April 6 in the 17800 block of Porto Marina Way, a suspect entered a vehicle and took the radar detecter, garage opener and vehicle floor mats.
  • Between 1 p.m., April 5 and 9:15 a.m., April 6 in the 400 block of Wynola Street, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a gym bag, clothing and shoes.
