Pali Police Blotter: Man Pulls Knife, Teen With Airsoft Gun Sought

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Man pulls knife

At 4 p.m. July 9 at the intersection of Chautauqua Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect, who's been identified, pulled a knife from his waistband and began yelling obscenities at someone, according to Los Angeles police.

Teen shoots victim with airsoft gun

At 5:35 p.m. July 9 in the 600 block of Swarthmore Avenue, a suspect shot a victim with an airsoft gun. Police describe the suspect as a white male teenager between the ages of 14 and 15, brown hair, blues eyes, 5'1'' and 150 pounds.

Burglaries from vehicles
  • Between 9:09 and 10:10 a.m. July 10 at the intersection of Entrada and Amalfi drives, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a purse, money and credit cards.
  • Between 9 and 10 a.m. July 10 at the intersection of Los Liones Drive and Sunset Boulevard a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a purse, money and an iPod.
  • Between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. July 13 at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a wallet, money and credit cards.
Attempted home burglary

Between 10 a.m. July 1 and 12 p.m. July 7 in the 1700 block of Chastain Parkway, a suspect smashed a window to a home and forced a door handle but was unable to enter.

Stolen jewelry

Between 2:30 and 10 p.m. July 7 in the 1000 block of Galloway Street, a suspect took jewelry during an open house.
