Pali Police Blotter: Narcotics Possession, Home Burglary Arrest

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Narcotics possession arrest

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 8:15 a.m. June 6 in the 700 block of Almar Ave. He was charged with possession of narcotics during a domestic battery investigation, according to Los Angeles police.

Home burglary arrest

An 18-year-old man was arrested at 11 a.m. July 4 at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and El Medio Avenue. He was charged with burglary after kicking open the door to a home and taking a laptop computer.

Suspects ID'd in vehicle burglary during fireworks

At 9:15 p.m. July 6 in the 14700 block of Pacific Coast Highway, suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and took a purse, money and wallet while the victim was watching a fireworks show. Police identified the suspects as a bald Hispanic man with brown eyes, 5'5'' to 5'6'' and 170 to 180 pounds, and 21 to 24 years old; a bald Hispanic man with brown eyes, 5'7'' to 5'8'' and 140 to 150 pounds and 21 to 24 years old with a thin mustache; and a third Hispanic man.

Grand theft auto

Between 9 and 9:30 p.m. July 4 at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Carey Street, a vehicle was stolen from the street

Vehicle burglaries
  • Between 5 p.m. July 3 and 8:30 a.m. July 4 in the 400 block of Sycamore Road, a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and took a lapop computer, iPhone and iPod.
  • Between 4 and 5 p.m. July 1 in the 900 block of Temescal Canyon Road, a suspect smashed a window and took a purse, money and credit cards.
Petty theft

At 12:30 a.m. July 1 at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Channel Road, a suspect took a shell from  single purse.

Vandalism

Between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the 15300 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect scratched the paint on a victim's vehicle.
