Palisades Fire Map: See Fire Perimeter, Evacuation Areas Friday

The most destructive in city history, continues to menace Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Topanga Canyon, Calabasas.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — The Santa Ana wind-driven Palisades Fire broke out Tuesday and pushed firefighters to the limit as they tried to slow the advance of a blaze that spread across 17,234 acres and destroyed or damaged more than 1,000 structures.

By Wednesday evening, the fire was mapped at 117,234 acres, with 0% containment, according to Cal Fire. The massive blaze, the most destructive in city history, continues to menace homes n Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Topanga Canyon and Calabasas.
