Rescue Pet of the Week: Alex, a Classic Russian Blue

Alex was one of a litter of four born to a feral mom under a backyard deck in South Los Angeles in March 2012. Fostered at the home of a caring volunteer, Alex was adopted by a family in October, but when they tried to fit a new puppy into their growing household, Alex found himself unwanted and back at Friends of Animals Foundation, where he soon renewed his old friendships with the other cats and volunteers.

Alex sports a gorgeous thick, soft grey coat—a classic Russian Blue. He is bright, affectionate and playful.
