Woman Injured As Palisades Senior Home Evacuated During Garage Fire: LAFD
A vehicle caught fire in the garage of a Palisades senior living facility Sunday night, according to the LAFD.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A woman was injured as a senior living facility was evacuated after a car caught fire in its parking garage Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to Ciela Senior Living at Palisades Drive and Vereda de la Montura Sunday at around 7:45 p.m. When they arrived, they found light smoke showing from an automobile that had caught fire in the facility's parking structure, which is located beneath the three-story building, according to the LAFD.
The fire was extinguished in 34 minutes, firefighters said.

One woman was transported to a local hospital after she fell during the evacuation, the LAFD said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
