18-Year-Old Man Found Fatally Wounded On Coachella Street
The grim discovery was made at about 10:34 p.m. Wednesday by deputies after reports of shots fired in the 84900 block of Calle Rojo.
COACHELLA, CA — An 18-year-old man was found fatally wounded by gunfire this week on a Coachella street, and no arrests have been made, authorities said.
The body of Coachella resident Isaak Gonzalez was discovered at about 10:34 p.m. Wednesday by deputies after reports of shots fired in the 84900 block of Calle Rojo. He was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Despite efforts to revive Gonzalez, he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's department.

"The scene was secured, and the Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation," according to the sheriff's department.
No arrests were made as of Thursday afternoon, and the sheriff's department did not release any suspect description.

"Due to the ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time," the law enforcement agency said.
