4 Juveniles, 2 Adults Injured In I-10 Crash Near Desert Center

One adult and one juvenile were taken to a hospital by air ambulance and one adult and three juveniles were sent by ground ambulance.

DESERT CENTER, CA — Four juveniles and two adults were involved in a collision Sunday on Interstate 10 near Desert Center.

The crash was reported at 11:11 a.m. Sunday, with one vehicle overturned in the center divide, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

One adult and one juvenile were taken to a hospital by air ambulance and one adult and three juveniles were taken to a hospital by ground ambulance at 12:21 p.m. Sunday, fire officials said.

Westbound lanes on I-10 were temporarily shut down to make space for the helicopter. All lanes have re-opened.
