Annual 'Tail-A-Thon' To Benefit Local Pets
The public can call in, donate online, cheer on adoption spotlights and help fuel livesaving work across the Coachella Valley.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs Animal Shelter will host its third annual "Tail-A-Thon" fundraiser later this week benefiting the shelter and the Desert Wildlife Center.
The event will be broadcast on NBC Palm Springs from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
The three-hour event will feature animal stories, behind-the-scenes highlights and real-time updates on donations, officials said.
