Attendance Record Broken Again at BNP Paribas Open
Tennis fans flocked to Indian Wells setting a new attendance record at the BNP Paribas Open.

The BNP Paribas Open set a new attendance record for the ninth consecutive year as fans flocked to Indian Wells to watch the biggest tennis stars in the world.
“I think this is one of the best stops we have during the year for us the players,” Roger Federer said after losing the men’s singles final on Sunday, March 22.
The largest tennis tournament outside the four Grand Slams got even bigger in 2015. The event welcomed 456,672 fans to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden over two weeks.

Many new daily records were set throughout the event including 32,354 for the day session on Saturday, March 14 and 16,988 fans for the tournament finals.
“The fans, you guys are incredible. I think the record says it all. I think the tournament and yourself can be very proud of yourself and the players thank you,” Federer said.
