Beloved Palm Desert Deli To Close Permanently: Report
The popular deli is known for its baked goods, happy hour "nosh", bagel chips and massive menu.
PALM DESERT, CA — Beloved full-service breakfast cafe, happy hour destination and bakery, J's Deli in Palm Desert, is closing its doors for good on Sunday, The Desert Sun reported.
The Jewish American deli was opened in 2022 at a historic Palm Desert site off El Paseo by owners Jay and Vanessa Rubenstein. The owners did not disclose to The Desert Sun the reason behind the closure.
The deli has a massive menu, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between, including fresh-baked pastries and desserts. The restaurant also offered a "happy hour nosh" menu with cocktail deals and discounted bites.

The restaurant's specialty item is its grab-and-go house-made bagel chips.
J's Deli will be open through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Sunday, the deli will close for a final time at 3 p.m., the newspaper reported. See the menu here.
