I-10 Offramp Closes Friday For $6M Storm Damage Repairs
The California Department of Transportation closed this offramp in the Coachella valley Friday. What to know.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — The California Department of Transportation Friday began a $6 million emergency project for storm damage repairs, which prompted the closure of the eastbound Bob hope Drive off-ramp on Interstate 10.
The off-ramp is expected to be closed until 1 p.m. as crews work to construct and replace the dike as California Highway Patrol officers assist with traffic control and safety, according to a statement from the California Department of Transportation.
"The new dike will better address and decrease potential flooding of the highway during inclement weather," officials wrote in a statement.
