The Living Desert To Hold Fundraising Gala In Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, CA — The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will hold their 29th annual Zoobilee Gala fundraiser next month, it was announced Friday.

The event will be held on March 5 at the zoo and will feature cocktails, dining, a live auction and a performance from ABBA tribute band ABBAFab, according to officials. The event will also recognize long-time supporter and board member of the Living Desert, Larry Spicer.

"This year's gala proceeds will benefit The Living Desert's exceptional animal care, unwavering commitment to our local and global conservation programs and dedication to providing engaging and impactful education programs for area school children," added Director of Development Jan Hawkins.
