A motorist who was fatally injured Sunday in a crash on westbound Dillon Road west of North Indian Canyon Drive has been identified by the coroner.
Robert Basilio, 22, of Coachella driving a sport utility vehicle that left the road about 1:50 a.m. Nov. 10 and the vehicle overturned, coroner's personnel said in a statement.
Basilio was ejected from the vehicle and he was pronounced deceased at the scene, on the shoulder of the roadway, coroner's personnel said.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
