One Dead In Coachella Valley Crash
Officials said arriving firefighters found a single vehicle had rolled over.
COACHELLA, CA -- One person died and another person suffered major injuries Saturday morning after their vehicle crashed in Coachella. The incident was reported at 6:15 a.m. in the intersection of Highway 86 and Dillon Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Officials said arriving firefighters found a single vehicle had rolled over and landed in the Spotlight 29 Casino's parking lot.
One person died at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital.
