"My goal has always been to strengthen the position of the League in dealing with those issues discussed by Sacramento that impact our city's future. It is important that cities are provided information about the League and understand the importance of having a strong voice. This process gives cities more power and improves the results of proposed legislation." says Kite.
Kite's leadership roles in both the City and the League, along with his ability to work with others in establishing goals and developing solutions for the long-term improvement of the Coachella Valley, makes him a well-deserved recipient of this award.
