This RivCo City Has Become A Celebrity Real Estate Hot Spot: Report

LA QUINTA, CA — La Quinta has established itself as a getaway of choice for some of California’s wealthiest and most famous residents, according to a report from Realtor.com.

Lori Loughlin of “Full House” and her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, sold their La Quinta home recently for $16.5 million, up from the $13 million they paid for it four years earlier, the outlet reported.

Other celebrity buyers in La Quinta have included Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Justin Bieber, Cindy Crawford and Apple CEO Tim Cook, according to Realtor.com.

"La Quinta provides a true 'escape' experience," Compass real estate agent Karen Ahaesy told the outlet. "This has made it a top destination for second-home and vacation-home purchasers."

Other amenities include dramatic mountain views, world-class golf communities, a nearby regional airport with private jet access, and proximity to major events like Stagecoach and Coachella, Realtor.com reported.

"Over the past decade, La Quinta has struck the balance between resort-style living and a true residential community," Ahaesy told the outlet. "There's an exceptional level of privacy that attracts high-net-worth and celebrity homeowners."
