RivCo Man Arrested After Desert Police Chase
The 46-year-old is accused of outstanding arrest warrants and leading deputies on a pursuit in the desert.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — A Coachella Valley man was arrested on Wednesday evening after he was accused of leading police on a chase from Cabazon to Palm Springs, authorities said.
Trevor Alexander Berry, a 46-year-old resident of Coachella, was taken into custody on suspicion of felony evading, among other charges, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department
Officials said they attempted to stop a white 2003 Ford pickup truck at the intersection of Main Street and Fern Street in Cabazon at 4:55 p.m. The driver failed to stop and fled the area at high speed.

Deputies pursued the driver as the truck entered the eastbound I-10 toward Palm Springs.The driver led deputies eastbound onto Highway 111. The chase "was terminated" in the 1100 block of North Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, the department said.
Berry was taken into custody without further incident, officials said. He was then booked into the Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of felony evading, reckless driving and outstanding arrest warrants.
