Two Men Arrested for Allegedly Possessing Ghost Guns

During their search, deputies allegedly found two 9mm semi-automatic handguns and a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun.

INDIO, CA — Two men arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal firearms, including two so-called "ghost guns," were released on bail Saturday.

Ike Cardenas, 20, and Jacob Cardenas, 21, were arrested Friday when deputies served a search warrant at a home in the 82000 block of Valencia Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

During their search, deputies allegedly found two 9mm semi-automatic handguns and a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun, sheriff's officials said. Two of the handguns had no serial numbers, making them hard-to-trace "ghost guns," authorities said.
