Two Thermal Men Arrested In Homicide Of 21-Year-Old Man
Two RivCo men were arrested in connection with the a murder of a man who was found dead in a burning vehicle.
THERMAL, CA — Two Thermal men arrested in connection with the a murder of a 21-year-old man who was found dead in a burning vehicle remained jailed Saturday.
On Jan. 24, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department discovered the remains of Thermal resident Guillermo Jacobo in a burned vehicle in a desert area near Highway 195 and 70th Avenue in the unincorporated community of Oasis.
Eusebio Elias-Vargas, 22, was arrested early Thursday and Jose Manuel Elias-Sanchez, 22, was arrested the prior night, according to the sheriff's department.

Both were booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of murder. Elias-Vargas was being held in lieu of $1 million bail and Elias- Sanchez was being held without bail.
