Whole Foods Market Begins Grocery Delivery in Palm Desert Area
Amazon.com's Whole Foods Market has just launched delivery of fresh groceries -- and alcohol -- to homes and businesses in Palm Desert.

PALM DESERT, CA -- Whole Foods Market, which is owned by Amazon.com, is now delivering its goods to homes and businesses in Palm Springs, the company announced May 1.
"Through the service, Amazon Prime members can receive ultra-fast delivery of thousands of Whole Foods Market items in as little as an hour," the company said in a news release.
This is the first time ever customers in these cities will be able to order items through Prime Now, the fastest Amazon delivery service offered. Select alcohol is also available for delivery to Palm Desert customers.

“With our goal to cover as many Prime customers as possible with this new service in Palm Desert, Calif., our coverage is expansive,” said Tanvi Patel, Head of Business Development for Prime Now said. “Today we’re excited to reach customers from Desert Hot Springs in the north, to La Quinta in the south, and from Palm Springs in the west to Joshua Tree National Park in the east.”
Delivery from Whole Foods Market is available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. More about grocery delivery from Prime Now is available at www.primenow.com. Customers can also find out if delivery is available in their area by saying, “Alexa, shop Whole Foods.”

The service is now available in 88 U.S. metro areas, and is expected to continue expanding through 2019.
