INDIO, CA — After Ye, who changed his name from Kanye West, was barred from performing at the Grammys this year, a new report said the musician will no longer perform at Coachella this year.

TMZ reported, citing anonymous sources, that both Ye and Travis Scott will not perform at the Coachella Valley Music Festival, which is slated to begin next weekend in Indio. Ye made the decision to pull his performance at Coachella, according to the report, and Scott was slated to join him.

The reason behind the move remains unclear. It comes after a source close to the family of Kim Kardashian, Ye's ex-wife, recently told Page Six that he told her he would not make "any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements," and that he would "go away somewhere to get better."

A representative of Ye's circle echoed that statement.

“At this time, Ye is committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is and focused on raising their beautiful children,” they also told Page Six.

Ye has reportedly blasted Kardashian's parenting and threatened her new boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, since joining Instagram last year. He was also suspended from the platform after hurtled racial slurs at comedian Trevor Noah, host of "The Daily Show."

“What she’s going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave,” Noah said his show.

West responded: “All in together now… K--- baya my lord k---baya K--- baya my lord K--- baya Oooo’ lord K--- baya.” The caption was underneath a screen-grab of a Google search of the comedian, who was born in South Africa.
