2 Arrested in Suspected Rancho Palos Verdes Home Burglary

A witness was able to get the make, model, color and license plate of the getaway car, leading to the arrests of the men, authorities said.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA -- Two men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of a home burglary in Rancho Palos Verdes, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Lomita Office reported.

The suspected burglary happened just before noon and a witness was able to get the make, model, color and license plate of the vehicle, which helped deputies make the arrest, according to the LASD.

Responding deputies spotted the car on Hitching Post Drive, authorities said.

"Deputies detained the occupants of the vehicle and they were positively identified as the burglary suspects," according to the sheriff's statement. "The suspects were subsequently arrested for residential burglary and are now guests of Lomita Station's jail."
