2 Palos Verdes Peninsula High Schools Named of Best in the State

PALOS VERDES, CA -- Two Palos Verdes Peninsula high schools have been recognized as some of the best high schools in the state, according to a report compiled by Niche.

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School was ranked sixth and Palos Verdes High School was ranked 53rd on the 100 best California high schools list. Niche, a website for researching schools, used a variety of factors including SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges students consider, and reviews from students and parents.

"I love being a Sea King," a Palos Verdes High School senior told Niche. "I love the diversity, and the opportunities that Culver offers."

Niche used data from the U.S. Department of Education and its own analysts to create the 2017 rankings.
